We're kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month at Booked by celebrating with of our favorite authors, the amazing Karla Arenas Valenti! Her new novel is an Aztec-mythology-themed adventure starring two 13-year-olds, a talking dog, a very funny chicken, and the perfect amount of peril! It's a great book for fans of Percy Jackson, reading level ages 8-13.
Karla will tell us about her book and the mythology that inspired it and we'll make a project related to the book. This is not a drop-off event; plan to stay with your kids!
